what a gorgeous couple! i love the beading on the ceremonial dress.
The material used for the actual outfits on the couple is called 'Kain Songket' which is basically cloth with gold thread woven into it. The Kain Songket is quite prominent in Bruneian customs and as you can see is both worn by both the men and women.
The beading is more of a personal choice with some brides opting for it while others don't.
