The biggest headache in doing a mono conversion like this is trying to get the shadows (and other dark areas) "correct". Since I have yet to get my LCD screen color calibrated, what I see on my screen as being fine and acceptable may look totally off to other people on their screens. It can be somewhat of a 'hit and miss' affair whenever I try to do these black and white conversions. Tell me what you think.

Cropped and rotated??

The tonal range is nice, but just needs to bump up the overall exposure a bit. Lawa bui.

Just cropped a tiny bit. I'm really having trouble with getting the correct exposure. I try bumping it higher and the highlights may look a bit blown out.

Need....to...get....calibrated....!
